Tray to Tray: a systemic approach

Over the past 15 years, Faerch has moved from a product-oriented to a solution-oriented approach, with a key focus on the circular economy.
At our tray recycling facility in the Netherlands, Faerch/4PET processes the food trays it receives from collectors, sorters and customers (closed loops) across Europe. We recycle the packaging into food grade material, which we use to manufacture new food applications in our pan-European network of production sites. This enables us to offer food packaging with up to 100% recycled content and to fully recycle it into food grade products.

Our mission is to create a circular economy, where food packaging is made from recycled post-consumer food packaging and recycled again at the same quality level, time and time again.
